Here's a super quick speedie I just did...um like in 15minutes. Cause I wanted to paint something before I went to sleep, but it's already pretty late so can't stay up that late...so had to paint somethin fast. I'm going to try and paint speedies regularly again, really miss doing em.

Blooming in the Rain

Yeah, so here's something I drew in tegaki, started it many months back when it was still the rainy season....but finally finished it the other day. I really like frangipani flowers and also rain, so kinda combined those two. Though it doesn't really look much like em since I half-assed it around the end..when I lost patience XD. Still I'm kinda fond of this picture overall, particularly since it has some of my favourite things: Rain, umbrella, frangipani (Or Kath Golap in Bangla...I like their Bangla name better he he) and bokehhhh XD

Staedtler Triplus fineliners get! XD

YUSS! I finally got em! Weehoooooo 8D

So the other day I finally splurged and uh bought myself these...the staedtler triplus fineliner 12 set and became broke ha ha. Oh well somethings are worth bein broke for. I guess...especially if you've wanted em for a long ass time. And I tried em out yesterday...lemme tell ya they are awesome! Worth every penny I say..the ink laydown is so smooth and the colours are vibrant and the right shades too. The yellow is yellow and the apple green is apple green....not fluorescent. Which is a relief since I'm tired to buying pens of those shades that turn out to be fluorescent even when they're not supposed to be.

 The bunneh looks kinda weird, but moving on....I was trying them triplus fineliners out yesterday and they be awesome. I didn't have much time yesterday so didn't get to doodle more with them, but I'm looking forward to doodling more with em today. So glad I got em....wooooo. Now to draw more with em...and yay for colourful linearts XD

I kinda liek the frog I guess.....So yeah. Since I am done with work for now, I can start working on my Ten CG Challenge entry again...AAAAH I'm so running late.....gotta get it done in time. Oh well.

Oh and excuse the blurry pictures....took em with my phone and sometimes it has trouble focusing and my hand is shakey too...uh yeah.

Yeah.

WIP! And stuff

Kay so it's been a while since I updated properly and stuff...well that's mostly because I ain't got internet at home and I get kinda lazy bout updating from work...but well I thought I'd update with something more substantial than a random piece of writing that popped in my mind one rainy day... XD So here's something I started painting last night....I felt pretty awake last night instead of feeling uber sleepy and tired for a change as I took a nap right after I got home from work..so felt kinda inspired and I started painting something inspired by warm fuzzy feelings you get when you drink something warm during winter time...since it's almost winter here. And I was liking how it was going so I kept at it and this is what I have so far:

It's far from done..about like 30% done I'd say. I made some custom brushes in Photoshop and it's really fun to paint with them. Trying to incorporate some brush textures within this picture...it's being fun to work on so I hope to finish it up soon...dayum why do I fail at drawing hands so baaad...must draw moar hands lol. Oh well. Photoshop CS5 with me intuos4.
