Teh chilly winds blow and its November

Yep today's the first of November and chilly wintry winds have been blowing all morning which signals the advent of winter. Or end of autumn, which ever way you pick it. I'll go for the former ha ha since I love autumn, and I don't really want it to end. At the same time I love winter too. Right, November also means its NaNoWriMo time and I have started on my novel! Huzzah. Now finish write 49000 words more =w= It's great to be writing again, really missed it. As usual I haven't been able to plan anything out or even think out a basic outline, so its going to be totally random XD I guess that's part of the fun eh? Also my pre-cambridge exams are in December so I gotta study my arse off. Gotta get em A's! Gotta catch em all.. >D

I'm here

Okay after like almost 3 friggin months, I'm dragging my lazy self to finally update my blog. There were many times during the last few months that I wanted to write of all that had and was happening, but I felt too down to actually write about any of it. But now here I am. Well ofcourse my AS level results came out early in August and it was probably the worst exam results ever. EVER. I got D's in all my subjects, except art and design, in which I got an E. Yep I bagged 4 D's and an E.

Ofcourse I never saw it coming and that was probably one of my biggest faults. I should've seen it coming. I should've realised that I didn't know enough, that I just couldn't get all A's by quickly skimming through my books and notes a month or two before the exam, when I didn't even understand most of it. And by the time I started getting the hang of it, it was too late. But well they say whatever happens is always for the best and perhaps it is. Life doesn't usually give you second chances, so when you do get one, you gotta make the best of it. So I'm retaking all of my exams and uh I'm ditching that stupid art and design. That was probably another reason for my ultra-lame grades. I mean seriously, what was I thinking, taking that subject just for the heck of it. I mean come on, who ever takes a subject just for the lulz yeah? Ofcourse after my AS exams I decided not to pursue it for A2, but even then. I should have never taken it in the first place.

All those weeks I spent trying to come up with a concept for my coursework..nothing came of it. Well I could atleast be happy if I could get the drawing I did during the 3-day exam..not the best drawing ever, but I poured in lotsa love into it and I definitely wanted to keep it with me..or atleast a photo of it would be nice too ya know. But anyway I'm winding things up too much. I was pretty depressed for a while, but then slowly I began to get a grip. It's no use being all depressed and shit, cause that's never going to help you. So I got up,dusted myself and moved on. And here I am. After almost 3 months, I'm finally here. You might remember that at the beginning of this year I made some New Year's resolutions. I couldn't fullfill all of them. I didn't get all A's and couldn't make my mum happy for that matter. I still didn't make an animated short and I don't know if I will be able to make one this year. But I do believe that next year, after my exams I will. But I want to fulfill the rest anyway.

Anyway, so I've decided to re-sit for all of my current AS/A2 level subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computing. I decided not to do English AS. I didn't feel like forcing myself to write essays and shit..I've never liked essays. Writing stories is my way to go. And I've finally decided to work on a plot for Autumn Rain. About time I should say. I thought of the name and the atmosphere and everything like more than a year ago. Its time to polish my writing skills! I've been wanting to join NaNoWriMo ever since I learned of it last year and this year I've actually signed up XD I definitely wanna win eeet. Yuss. I'll give it my best. Though I have to plan this carefully since my precambridge exams are coming up and I have quite a lotta studying to do. We went to Cox's Bazaar in September for Eid and it was awesome. And very inspiring too. And then I got sick after we cam back on the 14th and my eyes puffed up and stuff so I couldn't study nor do anything else besides lying on the bed. And a few weeks ago my Aunt, her husband (my uncle) and my cousin Eva moved out. I've been living with my aunt and Eva for the last 10 years almost and well it feels kinda weird ..but I guess we're getting used to it. That's basically what's happened.

But one really sad thing has happened. Eva's Cousin, Bithi, who was a really awesome child and somehow really liked me even though we never met nor saw each other, passed away the day after we returned from Chittagong. May she rest in peace. I will never forget you Bithi. You'll always be in my heart.

I need to develop my storyy

I do, I really do. I think I had this rough idea for a story I wanted to write and make a cool comic out of..I still do. I think I need to develop my story. Seriously, everyone has their original characters..EVERYONE..oh well its not because of that. I've always wanted to write this story that's set in this funky steampunk-fantasy world, with robots and stuff and make a cool comic series and stuff XD But its been what, 3-4 years since I last wrote anything even remotely related to that story. And then I have this idea for this other story. I must get into the habit of writing! And drawing more. Not to mention studying stuff before I get too far behind D: Anyhoo, I didn't have internet for the last 4 days and I just got it fixed yesterday. So here's something I whipped up.
No this isn't red riding hood. Its just a random character of mine, who I obviously need to develop, but yeah in a red hoodie. That's about it now.

Iscribble :D

So yeah, I joined iscribble two days ago, and my does that place rock or what! Its really fun doodling randomly there XD I haven't even worked on my normal drawings in the last two days. But yeah, I'll finish off some of my drawings tomorrow and go to iscribble later in the night XD I'm currently trying to get enough points so that I could become a reg there, yeah. Oh well. And this is what me and two of my friends Susi and Koollan, worked on for like 30+ hours on and off XD I basically did the grass, the clouds, the tree to the left and some other details, while Susi drew the whole thing..the concept sketch and lines were basically hers. She drew the cute creature. And we all brainstormed and decided on colours and what not XD And Koollan, cleaned up and helped colour the sun, he drew that EPIC ninja-shroom :D and put the two of us in a sort of competitive mood so that we could hurry up and finish it XD It was crazy fun working on this! Seriously, I had a blast working on this with the two of them. You guys rock ^

And,today's the second time I saw a fanart of the "No, thankyou" ending theme for K-On, and it kinda piqued my curiosity. I didn't think about it too much and was thinking of watching the whole thing and well ofcourse I'd be seeing the ed then right. But well I just went and checked it out and it really is very cool. The animashunnn and the guitar and ofcourse Yoko Hikasa's voice is as cool as always..it rocks! Anyway, its a really cool ending theme. Enjoy.

ESPANAAAA!!

Spain won. WOW. WHY DIDN'T I WATCH THEM PLAY BEFORE?!?! THEY ROCK! That was one AWESOME match. Woo. Wow, I'm really happy for them. I can only imagine how happy the folks from Spain are. Ha ha. Go Spain! Vaya a la Furia Roja!

Drawings

Urgh it's so effin hot today. AARGH Anyway, here are some of my newer drawings. All photoshop CS 5, cept the last one which is CS 3, with my intuos 4. Textures from Cgtextures.


This is Pupu, my half of an art trade with my friend Kermakala and I was supposed to draw this like almost a year ago. :|


I was pretty frustrated at how I didn't seem to be able to draw what I wanted to draw, the way I wanted to draw.. and so I just opened photoshop CS 5 and started painting with this totally random colour. I think it was a light peachy colour and then I added some blue and purple randomly..I was painting with this chalky brush (not the default chalky brush, but I use that a lot though, I love it) that I created from this texture and I dunno, it was very relaxing and slowly as I painted these shapes began to take form and then well this is how it turned out. I also added this random flower pattern. Yeah. I should do more of these, though it doesn't make a lotta sense.

Miku fanart, I wanted to do a sort of quick drawing of a face and then I ended up drawing miku and painting it all the way. But I must say, even though there are a lotta problems here, it was really fun and I learned a lot from painting this. Also I recorded the process, so here it is:

Summer summer summer

So my school closed today and my offical summer vacation begins now. About time I'd say. I can't bear the kids in my class anymore, well a lot of them anyway. On a brighter note though, I've finally redesigned my blog and now hopefully it'll stay this way for a while now. It was fun, but I kinda got tired of trying to make the page scroll using different combinations of CSS codes =_= And then finally it worked. I think I might change the background for something more simpler and streamlined though. Yeah.. Let's see..let's see..

Well I do have a lot to say, but I don't feel like writing all that much now. I'll try to update my blog regularly, even if with nothing, but with doodles and stuff at the least. And wow blogger's got a cool new design feature. Naaice. And I can't believe that Argentina lost and then Uruguay and Germany lost >_> Nooo..Oh well, I'll support Spain then. But come on, Germanyy!

Aand I came across this Awesome artist today and seriously speaking, his style is awesome..AWESOME! And very fresh and clean. Very..mm flowy and neww...I don't know how to explain it, but its very cool and its one of my more favourite styles. Also he animates reaally really well..I miss flash :\ I think its about time I got it again. I want to animate and animating in photoshop, isn't what I feel like doing right now. When it comes to animations, I find animating with Flash much easier and friendlier...especially the timeline. Though I can't pan and zoom in Flash for some reason. Oh well, I suppose its because I just don't know how to do it...aside from trying to do it manually. I'm not sure if that's how the others do it though, since they all get their pan and zoom so smooth and mine looks really choppy. Oh well, I have After Effects, but I need to re-install it..plus I don't even know how to use it XD I should learn to use it anyhow. Enough rambling though.

Wiip and I'm trying to draw something that I want to draw that I generally can't draw..since if I never try, how will I ever get better? I've never really drawn someone in this pose and with these clothes and stuff..so it'll be quite the experiment really. But hey you go gotta do whatcha gotta do. I have lots more to show, but its too late in the night now and I need to sleep. So yeah.
