So...

Uh yeah, damn I've been soo lazy that I haven't updated in like a month...darn...sorry blog-dude, won't happen again...eh, I just keep telling that, but still! Any way, my art coursework was finished a couple of weeks ago and I got sick after that. My teacher didn't seem to be liking it, she said she was expected something better. Yeah. But my mum liked it, that's what matters. I hope that the folks at CIE can like it. And then I was sick with a fever and bouts of this nasty headache and just weak all over. I'm much better now, though am still kinda weak. Kinda.

Woo, time sure flies, my AS level exams begin from the 12th of May...oh well we have the controlled test for Art and Design earlier from the 6th to the 8th. Three days, 5 hours each. 15 hours. But I hope I can finish my work earlier so that I can study for my other subjects.

In the Rain

Something I drew yesterday. Took me a while, this did. Actually it was meant to be a speedy, I wanted to improve my speed I guess..yeah

But still it was nice working on this...though I lost my patience and my mind kept wandering and stuff..I wanted to ditch this and draw something simple and fun..XD

I think I'm kinda getting better at painting like this. I tried out some of the watercolour paper I bought and its got quite a lot of texture, since I want to use water colours as the main media for my art coursework, I'm trying to get better at it.

I went to chemistry coaching today, after like 2-3 weeks..ah how awesome it was without coaching...though I can't say that I enjoyed those weeks since I had exams and my computing coursework to be finishing. =_=

Still I miss studying and I hope I can finish my art coursework soon and get back to studying, doodling and snoozing like I usually do. Oh lol, I could actually draw a dog here! Yuss, here's the little pup:

My friend says that he looks happy..maybe, my intention was to make the puppy look a little down XD Oh well, as long as he looks like a dog..works :D

Eldest

My mock 2 exams are hopefully finally over. I've been feeling pretty much wacky all day today..due to a particularly nasty bout of indigestion....bleargh

Anyway so I finished reading Eldest today and I must say I'm really impressed..when I first started reading it, I didn't know what to think, but as the plot progressed I realised that Paolini has really improved as an author. I love Eragon, but I think Eldest has a lot more intensity?...yeah. Kudos Master Paolini!

I should do some fanart..but well. Also I finally finished the creature in the case which I've been wanting to finish, but didn't get around to reading more that the first few pages. I want to read more books related to Lirael, Sabriel, Touchstone...the lot of them from the Old Kingdom Trilogy. Its just soo cool, and damn is Garth Nix an awesome writer or what. I should make proper drawings of my favourite characters and stuff now that I've got my tablet. Hmm...

Mock 2 almost over...but not quite

[This was actually being written on the 30th, but due to a power failure I had to rewrite it after I got home from school on the 31st and so it was actually posted on the 31st]
So yeah, tomorrow I have computing exam and then hopefully I can finally relax a bit and think properly about my art coursework. These power cuts have left me so uninspired...I mean I dunno...I feel drained and I don't feel like doing much. But I have to finish my art coursework now, and lol, I made a Goodreads account now XD

I'm liking that website, I love BOOKS XD

Done with my coursework

XD wow, I exactly wrote an entry one month ago...shit. I should update my blog regularly. Well I finally finished my computing coursework and submitted it today..and yeah it was a big pain in the arse (like last year =_=|||)...but phew I finished it! And well my mock 2 exams are going on and well today was chemistry...it was okay. Not worrying about them. Most the major ones are over ...with the lab tests for physics and chemistry remaining..and computing and maybe art. Not sure.

But well I got my art question paper for may/june 2010 the other day and now I should pick my topic and practice. Interesting. I went to New Market this Thursday with mum and Tzu to buy some art supplies. It was sooo hot...by the time we made it back to school, we were sweaty and tired from the heat. But it was worth going there! I got all these cool art supplies..real watercolour paper,a sketchbook,a watercolour pad,a set of acrylics,a set of artist's watercolours, three types of charcoal and some neat brushes. Oh I also got a 12X16" canvas...just to try it out, since I've never painted/drawn on canvas before.

So much has happened...and yet not much really
Hmm, I'l post my new drawings soon.

I also bought Eldest..woohooo and now am reading it...in between power cuts. Seriously they are getting to me.

First Paint chat session

Ha ha, yeah so I was looking at the paint chat doodles by Yanyu and well thought that I give Niko's a try. So I went and registered there and it was done pretty quickly...unlike what I had thought..since I thought that it takes them a day to process the request and all. Wooh. Ah well and then I logged in and entered a normal drawing room. Well yeah and the java applet loaded pretty fast and well before I knew it I had found myself a little empty space and I was drawing this. I kinda like how this turned out. I think I might make her a character and even draw a character sheet for her. I've never done one of those.

There were these people there...after drawing for a bit I said hi to them and two of them replied back to me. Well I tried taking part in the conversation that was going on but no one seemed to be paying me any attention so I finished my drawing, said bye and left. Yeah.

Today is Tzu and my aunt's birthday. Happy birthday you guys! I love youu <3

Prelude to a week of half arsing my coursework :D

Oh here's a random drawing. Tried half toning here. Done in photoshop with my intuos 4.

Hmmph, my art exam's finished and well now I gotta start working on my computing and later my art and design coursework.. My art exam..well first art exam in like 7 years. Yeah, that long. I don't practice art much so I cooked up a random drawing of a living room since that was one of the questions...but the paper was soo thin that the watercolours made it go all flappy D: and an hour and a half isn't really enough. Today though I drew this girl staring at her reflection in a rain puddle (referenced and inspired from yotsubato! chap 7 cover) and well I'm kinda happy with how it turned out. And it was fun doing that too.. Well I was practicing the pose from that cover last night and well today when I saw the question..(we could draw whatever we wanted) I thought I'd just draw that. Lucky I practiced.

Tzu got her tablet today, its a small wacom intuos 4 and it looks kinda cute :3. And here're some photos of my one.

So now I should start working on my computing coursework. Planning, programming, evaluation, testing. Yep. All that. Documentaion. In like what three days? Darn. Mum says that she won't allow me to work on it after the month's over! And I have a chemistry test the day after tomorrow...and its on organic chemistry and I have to study for that.

Ah I've started reading Azumanga Daioh and I'm re-reading the thief lord. Fantastic book that. And my oh my is Azuma Kiyohiko awesome or what! His style is fantastic! And all his characters are soo epic. Heh, awesome artist mmhmm.

Well its veery late at night..and I gotta hit the sack.
