Yeah..did this in the oekaki at 4chan today. First oekaki with my tablet and third oekaki ever XD.
I really liked how it turned out. It really took around 30 minutes to draw this...as opposed to the 58 minutes online...I mean I wasn't supposed to draw then and if mum saw me drawing then I guess I'd be in be big trouble... *shot*
Yeah, I have been neglecting my blog again...sorry bloggie =_=..here's what happened: My AS level registration is complete. Finally.
And today...
I got my Tablet! Just this evening! Ahhh...its fantastic, I can draw with it, navigate with it and even write with it! Fantastic! Sooooo coool..and I ordered the medium sized one...still kinda wondering whether it'd be large enough or not...man...was I ever wrong! Its soo large and definitely more than enough..thank God that I didn't actually order the the large one! But hey the're all cool. I loove youu tablet honey ~

Zubuyer dude brought it over to my place this very evening! Just when the power was out too...great..and then we had to open the box with the light from the candle! And Zubuyer actually came over to my house! Woah, that was cool. Too bad he couldn't stay for long. And just after he left the power came back. Sheesh. At any rate here're two of my first proper drawings with my tablet!
Photoshop CS 3...can't believe my tablet is finally here XD I did draw some random doodles to get the hang of my pen...but they weren't really undertsandable and I didn't save em...just kept jumping from program to program..yeah

Heck yeah. Bleach is really cool, the manga is just fantabulous. Tite Kubo's drawing style just rocks and so now he's among my top favourite comic artist's along with Hiromu Arakawa, Jim Lee, Masashi Kishimoto, Echiida Oshi, Tomoko Ninomiya among others. I've been hearing about bleach and ya know been seeing all those fanarts on dA and well never really thought about it much until recently when I got animax back and discovered that they were showing Bleach there. I was merely curious..and then one day I happened to see an episode and that sold me. Next thing I knew..I was staring at the first page of the Bleach manga on my LCD screen. And darn is it awesome or what. I should be making some fanart soon, but drat aint getting around to doing it.
On a brighter note, Zubuyer dude from GRAFA is helping me get a tablet! Woohoo, he ordered my intuos 4 medium. It should be arriving within a week or so. Kudos to you Zubuyer and your awesome hardware guy ^ ^ I'm pretty excited but I have to be patient. If I could wait for a tablet these many years, then I can definitely wait for a few days more. Tablet, have a safe trip!
And I got java back so I did this oekaki here :
I discovered a couple of days back that my oekaki central account had somehow vanished. So I did this on the oekaki board at 4chan.org. I tried to use paint chat but somehow none of the brush stroke appears so couldn't do that.
And here's a drawing I just did a couple of minutes back in painter X. I just opened up painter and just started drawing with the felt tip pen and the strokes were coming out smooth and so I went and drew this. :D
I like how she turned out. I kinda sharpened it a bit in Photshop CS 3.
Argh, I need to study. Have been procrastinating. Time to get serious and kick some serious wacky kid butts!! Oh and my pre cambridge results aren't out yet. Well I have to do well, so let's hope for the best! I have to pass all my subjects well enough to be allowed to sit for all my AS level exams this may/june 2010, so yeah.
Well, that's all for now. I haven't been updating my blog as regularly as I'd like to, but hey I did just now.

I need to play mirrors edge..only I can't seem to finding a way to escape from the cops after the first mission is done and I always end up getting killed. This sucks. I hope I find a solution soon

Yeah sorry for the lateness, but Happy New Year 2010!! Also after the weeks worth of half arsing my project to the finishing line, its finally over...phew, that was some thing. Anyway, I'm done with it and it's not the best animation out there and I know that I could've done better, but what the heck. It is what it is and I'm not going back to it..so yeah

And well I haven't been ab;e to draw much right, but now that I'm done doing the animation, I can finally go back to my normal lazy lifestyle :D, yayness. So I'll ne studying for my AS level exams and I'll try to draw whatever I can in between bouts of studying and stuff. And here's something random I drew:
I wanted to do a quick doodle to test how masking worked and well this happened, still don't get this masking thing much, but now I do understand how the quick mask mode works..nice...Oh I did this in Photoshop CS 3 and I use a mouse. Its ironic how before I didn't have the money to buy a tablet but opportunities to get one used flutter in now and then and now that my mum has the money to get me one, I can't seem to be finding any way to get my hands on a nice shiny wacom intuos 4...wacom tablets aren't available here D:, sucks doesn't it?..well whatever, I can wait

It really is. Earlier on I stated that if I ever got a laptop, I'd get a macbook pro, but the truth is that its not feasible for me to get one. Plus while I do like mac OS X, I'm also a windows user. And then I'm a gamer. A macbook pro 15inch costing $2,299.00, just doesn't cut it. Here in Bangladesh, they cost even more. With that price I can get an awesome gaming laptop that'll eat up any game I throw at it. But then that's where another problem comes in. Gaming laptops are hard to choose from...I mean I love to play and well I'd want my laptop to be capable of handling most of todays games at high settings. After a lot of searching I did find some great laptops within my price range and neat to look at. BUT..but, *sigh* they aren't available here!!! WTF is available here?!?! Not even a good Sony Vaio model...all they have here are mid range HP pavillion notebooks and some other stuffs that I don't care about. This really is going to be hard.
Though I must say there are some sweet laptops available nowadays, outside of Bangladesh that is. Or maybe there are more laptops available here, only I don't know. Wish I knew. Ah well, at the mo, I can't be bothered with thinking about laptops. I'm aware of the stuffs in the global market now and I aint googling for laptops any more at the mo. I'm tired.
They have great desktop stuffs here, but I must say I'm disappointed with the variety of laptops available here. Ah..someday..someday. Like my desktop is awesome and all, but I was hoping to find a good laptop. Maybe I will. Who knows right.
Anyway here's a little something I drew in Photoshop today, he he, was trying out the rough brushes around the end of the default brushes list. Well I kinda like the outcome. It kinda looks like water colour on a thick and rough paper.

Happy holidays people! Look I made a drawing in that facebook graffiti app! And I don't even like facebook and hardly ever go there. I just followed this link an artist at dA embedded ya know, and well I ended up in the facebook graffiti page. So instead of watching the replay of her drawing, I just went and drew something, guess its probably because I haven't been able to draw anything aside from animation frames and stuffs these few days. Well why you ask? Because..because I'm entering the GRAFA Logo Animation Mini Challenge yeah :D.
So I had to open a thread and show my progress, as I go along. We are four participants so far, including Zubuyer (admin, founder,awesome artist, a good friend and basically a really nice kid)who is one of the judges too XDD ( but he says he's doing it for fun so yeah :D). Well I'm not doing this for winning or anything, though that GRAFA notebook does seem to be nice, but I'm doing this for having fun, and learning and getting better at this in the process. yeah. Ok here's my animatic.
And here's my thread since I'm too lazy to post all those images and stuffs here again.
Okay people, wish me luck. I haven't been able to draw much nor read much, nor study much... I'm a lazy bum, someone please knock some sense inta my head D:

P.S.- I finally got my hands on Mirror's Edge and damn is it awesome! Its is soooooooooo coool, prolly one of the best games I've ever played. And the 1st person point of view just makes it all work so well, also the graphics are drop dead awesome! Just too good. Well I'll play it regularly after I'm done animating my entry.
